We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Sydney.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Technician with excellent communication skills and work ethic to join a fast-growing successful business with fantastic work culture and a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment, working in a collaborative environment and utilizing their technical skills and experience as a tradesman.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting preventive servicing, data collecting as well as repair, and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.
You will also promote a safety-first approach and collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures, with experience working within procedural guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
- Report daily to the Shift Supervisor.
- Promote a safety-first approach.
- Collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize multiple unique GSE specialized equipment.
Requirements:
- Relevant Mechanic Trade Qualification.
- Hold a current and valid Driver's License.
- Exposure to diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical fault finding is highly regarded.
- Strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
