Key Behaviour Support Role

The Behaviour Support Practitioner is a vital component of our multidisciplinary team approach, providing quality support services to NDIS participants.

  • We are seeking a skilled practitioner to assist NDIS participants and their families/carers in identifying needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • You will evaluate, develop and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment.
  • Our ideal candidate will develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, committed to eliminating restrictive practices.
  • Individual plans will reflect the participant's goals, passions and strengths.
  • You will build knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc.
  • We are looking for a collaborative team player to work with a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional.
  • Report writing experience.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
  • A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
