
Disability Support Worker

Complete Care Team aims to provide a holistic and wellness model of attendant care for people in the community with high support needs. We focus on all aspects of our client's needs, including the physical, emotional, spiritual and social to promote wellness. Our highly respected company was established in 1999, providing a quality home based person-centred service which puts clients at the centre of the decision making and planning process to help identify and achieve their goals.
We are seeking individuals to assist our clients in The Blue Mountains achieve their goals, maximise their potential for independence and live their best life within their community.
Duties may vary to suit the needs of the individual client. This may include however are not limited to:
- Community access; shopping, specialist appointments
- Personal care; showering, toileting, etc
- Domestic duties; cleaning and meal preparation
- Manual handling; use of equipment to support mobility such as wheelchairs or hoist
- Clinical care; wound care, bowel care, etc
**Essential criteria**:
- NDIS Worker Check, Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
- Working rights in Australia
- Current drivers license and willingness to drive including having a registered and insured vehicle
**Preferred but not essential**:
- Industry experience will be highly regarded
- An understanding of person centred disability care and Acquired Brain Injury
