We are seeking permanent part-time Home Care Assistants to provide essential support to older individuals in their homes.
About the Role- Provide care that enables clients to live independently and safely at home.
- Travel to clients' residences using your own vehicle, receiving compensation for mileage and travel time.
- Assist with personal care needs such as showering and dressing.
- Support clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with shopping errands.
- Help manage medication schedules.
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills and a patient approach.
- Previous experience in aged or community care is beneficial, but not necessary.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have access to an insured, reliable vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance).
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is advantageous.
- Competitive hourly rate: $31.31 - $34.12 plus 99c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided.
- Ongoing training ensures all our staff members are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
- Secure employment on a 14-day rotating roster provides stability and work-life balance.
