Job Title: Lifestyle Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older Australians.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing programs and events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents. You will foster a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing individualized programs based on resident needs, preferences, and goals
  • Leading and participating in the delivery of activities that are engaging and meaningful
  • Preparing thorough and accurate lifestyle assessments of residents
  • Ensuring complete and timely documentation of resident participation and engagement
  • Managing and coaching the lifestyle team to deliver top-notch lifestyle activities
  • Supporting the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers
  • Facilitating opportunities for residents to engage with the broader community

You will work closely with the General Manager and care team to ensure all residents enjoy a rich and purposeful lifestyle. As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team and play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (desirable)
  • A proactive and energetic self-starter with a strong customer service focus
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge regarding the ACFI framework (desirable)
  • Experience using a computerized Care Management System (desirable)
  • An eagerness to grow and develop your career in Aged Care
