We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Leader to join our team. As a Safety Leader, you will work closely with the Project Team to drive continuous improvement in safety culture by assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, initiating performance improvements, and sharing best practices and lessons learned.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Initiate performance improvements and share best practices and lessons learned.
  • Lead a team of HSE personnel to ensure compliance with OHS&E principles and regulations.
  • Implement and oversee project and subcontractor HSE plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

**Requirements**

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Recent experience in a HSE Manager position within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience leading a team of HSE personnel.
  • Ability to implement and oversee project and subcontractor HSE plans.
  • Knowledge of OHS&E principles and regulations, Industrial Relations, and Workers Compensation Legislation.
