About the Project
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to lead on-site WHS protocols for a greenfield installation of a cutting-edge shuttle system with integrated conveyors, AGVs, and pick stations.
Your Role
As the Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance and proactive safety management. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular site walks to identify and resolve safety issues.
- Leading daily pre-start meetings with personnel and subcontractors.
- Developing SWMS documents and performing comprehensive risk assessments in partnership with field experts.
- Overseeing compliance with WHS legislation, including fall protection and electrical safety.
- Preparing weekly reports, conducting injury investigations, and managing documentation for site safety.
- Collaborating effectively with project stakeholders to maintain safety standards and mitigate risks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: Proven expertise in WHS, preferably within the construction or automation sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction processes and relevant WHS regulations.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, high-level documentation skills, and strong interpersonal skills for training and advising on WHS strategies.
- Mindset: Solution-focused with a proactive approach to safety management.

- Coordinate integration of project systems and processes.
- Maintain project schedule and documentation, ensuring timely communication between stakeholders.
- Facilitate resolution of project-related issues to ensure seamless project delivery.
