About this Role

We are seeking a highly experienced leader to drive our Ground Handling team in Sydney. As the head of this critical operation, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring safety and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the team to achieve high levels of performance and service excellence.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with external stakeholders, including airlines, airport authorities, and third-party suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team to develop and implement customer and key account strategic plans.
  • Analyse financial and operational results to ensure targets are being met or exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education up to Masters degree/MBA or higher preferred.
  • Extensive leadership experience in the aviation industry, with a commitment to driving a customer-centric service culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
  • A proven record of achievement in building and fostering relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Business acumen, including financial and budget management, and experience in driving cultural change and continuous business improvement.
