As a Disability Employment Consultant, you will be working with individuals who have an injury, illness or disability to help them become work ready and find suitable employment.

The role involves:

We provide support and guidance to job seekers to help them achieve their goals and develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce.

  • Building relationships with employers and community organisations
  • Actively marketing job seekers to potential employers
  • Helping job seekers identify their skills, abilities and suitable roles
  • Increasing job seekers' capacity for employment through training, referral to counselling or other support services, coaching in job search skills
  • Creating and implementing a clear pathway to employment for job seekers through Job Plans

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check and pass a Working with Children Check
