A Chief Workforce Developer with expertise in Aboriginal recruitment and retention.
We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive meaningful change and promote opportunities for Aboriginal people within our organization. As a key member of the Workforce Strategy team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies that foster inclusivity and diversity.
About the Role:
- Lead the development, delivery and evaluation of workforce strategies and programs aimed at increasing employment opportunities for Aboriginal people.
- Provide culturally sensitive advice and guidance to stakeholders on effective recruitment practices.
- Collaborate with the Organisational Development unit to develop programs that support the growth and retention of Aboriginal employees.
- Design and deliver training sessions on cultural awareness and effective recruitment practices.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in workforce development, specifically in Aboriginal recruitment and retention.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- A proven track record of driving positive change and promoting cultural diversity.
- A deep understanding of the importance of creating a culturally safe and inclusive work environment.
