Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant or Manager to join our team and take ownership of managing and reviewing Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs).

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client care by handling taxation and compliance for a diverse SMSF portfolio.

With hands-on coaching and a defined succession plan in place, this role is designed to take your career to the next level. You will work closely with industry experts to ensure that clients receive tailored advice and support throughout every stage of their financial journey.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong technical knowledge of SMSF compliance and superannuation law, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review SMSFs, ensuring accurate lodgments and regulatory deadlines are met.
  • Communicate clearly and regularly with clients and internal teams.
  • Identify and advise on opportunities during client interactions.
  • Complete SMSF year-end compliance, including financial statements and tax returns.
  • Liaise with auditors, actuaries, and third parties to manage fund establishment and wind-up processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the business services and Financial Planning teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
