Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality food and beverage services to residents in accordance with their dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas under responsibility, including kitchen spaces and dining facilities.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to understand and meet their needs.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the aged care or hospitality sector is required.
  • Prior experience working with older adults, individuals with diverse needs, and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds would be highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
  • Knowledge of food safety principles, dietary requirements, and ability to maintain accurate records are necessary.
