The Growth and Partner Acquisition Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and strategic partnerships. This position involves working with a defined portfolio of partners, brokers, and referral sources to identify opportunities for growth.
This role exists to empower small businesses by simplifying cash flow through our leading platform. The Growth and Partner Acquisition Specialist will focus on maintaining, growing, and leveraging relationships to drive business growth and strategic partnerships, ultimately helping customers make payments, fund growth, and reduce administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and engage broker referrers within a defined portfolio to drive business growth.
- Develop strategic plans to encourage partners to refer business and deliver sales volumes.
- Build market awareness and referral opportunities through partnerships to drive business growth.
- Ensure best practices in sales and marketing execution across the channel to drive results.
- Present the value proposition to stimulate regular deal opportunities and drive business growth.
- Identify and win new referral partnerships across multiple industries to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with field-based specialists to identify, engage, and build business referrals for territory sales volumes and KPIs.
- Grow partner referrals by articulating the 'partner evolution' and progressing mutually beneficial relationships.
- Provide regular sales pipeline updates to management to inform business decisions.
- Overcome customer objections and train others to acquire new business.
- Articulate the value proposition to targeted business types to drive business growth.
- Maintain accurate information in the company CRM system to inform business decisions.
- A strong drive to succeed with high energy and resilience.
- Positive attitude and mature mindset with strong communication skills.
- Proven track record of high-volume outbound calling.
- 2 years' experience in a channel sales role.
- Proven capability to manage a portfolio of accounts to meet targets.
- Proven ability to identify, contact, and partner with target referral markets.
- Experience selling/supporting the finance broker market (advantageous).
- Experience in managing and growing channel partnerships with strong training and engagement capability.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and engaging personality.
- Ability to be recognised as a valued business partner.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of SME owners' motivators.
