About ACRWORLD

We are a leading developer of wind/PV/BESS projects and we're seeking an Electrical Balance of Plant (BoP) Engineer to provide concept design for the BoP of our renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge around electrical reticulation and be particularly strong on the primary aspects of substation design. The detailed design will be executed by external contractors/consultancies but you will be responsible for reviewing these and identifying any potential design risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop concept designs for BoP components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Support the development of technical specifications for electrical BoP equipment.
  • Manage and review external contractors/consultancies who are conducting detailed design.
  • Identify and mitigate design risks associated with electrical reticulation networks.
  • Ensure optimal network distribution and integration with renewable energy generation assets.
Requirements
  • Electrical engineer qualification.
  • Experience in electrical reticulation networks for large-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Proven expertise as a BoP/Primary Design Engineer.
  • Knowledge around electrical reticulation, substations, transformers, switchgear, and cabling networks.
  • Ability to manage and review external consultants.
