Amazon is seeking an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our Data Centres team.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced engineer to design and develop electrical systems for our data centres. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, particularly Revit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems for data centre projects, including single line schematics and layout drawings
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated and clash-free models
  • Update and modify existing models and drawing sets as required
  • Manage the creation, issuing, and revisions of drawings and models
  • Coordinate electrical services with all other disciplines to develop clash-resolved models and export coordinated drawing sets from same

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience in BIM/CAD, specifically in electrical building design and services
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
  • Experience using Revit to design and coordinate large electrical projects
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and their configuration within data centres
