About the Role

The Sports Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sports Department at Everi Pty, with a particular focus on leading our Basketball program and assisting with other sporting activities as allocated by the Director of Sport and Performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Coordination
    • Coordinate all aspects of student involvement in their allocated co-curricular sports, including delivery of selection trials, training, competition entries, weekly and season game reports, player and coach evaluations.
  • Planning and Organisation
    • Collaborate with the Sport leadership team regarding annual, term and weekly planning to ensure timetables are prepared.
  • Student Management
    • Track and monitor student participation, attendance, injury management, rewards and recognition scheme, and dress standards.
  • Coaching and Development
    • Ensure qualified and accredited coaches are recruited and allocated to each team.
    • Oversee the skills development of coaching staff with allocated sports, promotion and delivery of relevant coaching development programs, as well as preparation of a series of coaching resources.
  • Equipment and Inventory Management
    • Record, monitor, and track inventory of School sporting equipment, coach and student sport uniforms as required for allocated sports.
Requirements
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Sports Management / Business Degree
  • Human Movement / Coaching / Exercise / Sports Science Degree
  • National Police / Criminal History Check
  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Drivers Licence
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Sport, Event and/or project management/coordination
