Coordinator - Sport & Administration

Be a key part of the Bowls NSW sport team as we enter an exciting period of growth In this role you will support the sport and administrative teams with the delivery and future planning of the sport of lawn bowls across NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to member enquiries regarding sport delivery and Bowls NSW events.
- Maintain and update member information and gradings within the BowlsLink database.
- Support the sport team with event planning and delivery of Bowls NSW events.
- Assist with administrative tasks including merchandise and uniform orders and fulfillment
Other Duties:
- Limited travel to events within New South Wales may be required.
- Fulfil other duties as required by The Executive Manager Bowls, Manager Membership & Administration; and, The CEO.
Required Qualities & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the sport of lawn bowls
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Ability to take phone calls and effectively manage member queries
- Ability to navigate online databases and collate data
- NSW drivers' licence and Working With Children Check (Or an ability to obtain)
Desirable Experience & Competencies:
- Bowls Club, Region or committee experience
- Understanding of the BowlsLink database and software
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Managing and mitigating conflict through good Governance
- Broad stakeholder management experience
- Ability to embrace new technology
- Understanding of Membership based sporting organisations
- Knowledge of lawn bowls & NSW Conditions Of Play
