Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Loan Originator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing loan files from application through closing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage loan files from application to completion
  • Pull and analyze credit applicant information
  • Review income and asset documents
  • Communicate effectively with borrowers and real estate professionals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and ensure file accuracy
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and up-to-date
  • Pull credit reports and prepare them for review
  • Provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mortgage loan processing or origination
  • Current Mortgage Loan Processing certification required
  • NMLS License preferred
  • Familiarity with RESPA and general knowledge of mortgage regulations and loan documents
  • Encompass software experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows
