Business Development Executive

About the Role

This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Renewable Energy sectors.

The primary purpose of this position is to develop and implement strategies and business plans to meet group targets and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Promote the company brand to clients within the portfolio.
  • Prepare business reports as required by management.
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers.
  • Manage and coordinate with customers on all contract-related issues.

Position Impact:

  • Develop and maintain key client relationships.
  • Manage contract renewals.
  • Enhance revenue and EBIT.
  • Develop and promote the company brand.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years in commercial or operations roles, focusing on Oil & Gas, Mining, or Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Tertiary qualifications in warehousing, logistics, business, or related disciplines are highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management within the relevant industries.
  • Experience in achieving results through quality management and continuous improvement.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive approach.
  • Flexible and adaptable to a demanding environment.
  • Team-oriented with good collaboration skills.
