About the Role

In this strategic leadership position, you will be responsible for spearheading a team of staff and driving various initiatives within the Health, Safety and Staff Wellbeing Directorate.

The role entails leading the design, delivery, and implementation of key strategies and projects to enhance the health and wellbeing of all staff across the department.

You will work closely with the People and culture team to develop and implement a state-wide staff wellbeing strategy, as well as deliver innovative programs and services to support the wellbeing of all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of high-risk projects and programs, including oversight of all project planning and delivery requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver key strategic programs and initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key partners.
  • Monitor and evaluate all aspects of program and project implementation.
  • Lead a team that understands how to analyze data and information to target programs effectively.

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in a related field.
  • Commitment to the value of public education.

Key Knowledge and Experience:

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's policies and procedures to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
