Lifeguard Job Description

Job Title: Lifeguard

We are seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Lifeguards at RAAF Base Pearce in Bullsbrook, WA. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of pool users.

This is a casual position with morning and afternoon shifts covering a 7-day period. Shifts include:

  • Morning Shift: 07:45am - 01:00pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 01:00pm - 06:00pm

The roles will commence during the summer season (October to March) and may continue beyond this period.

About the Role

  • Providing safety advice and performing rescues as required
  • Removing Pool covers when opening the pool and recovering at closing periods
  • Checking daily pool operations, including removing leaves / debris, testing chlorine and PH levels of the water, starting pumps etc
  • Answering general enquiries / questions as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A valid Driver's License with a reliable vehicle
  • A current Pool Lifeguard Certification
  • First Aid skills
  • A Working with Children's Check
