The role of a lifeguard is critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals at aquatic facilities.

This position requires individuals who are vigilant, proactive, and able to respond quickly in emergency situations.

  • Responsibilities include providing supervision and safety advice, performing rescues, administering first aid and resuscitation as required
  • Pool maintenance tasks such as removing pool covers, checking chlorine and pH levels, and starting pumps
  • Providing customer service and answering inquiries as needed
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle
  • Possession of a current Pool Lifeguard Certification
  • Ability to provide First Aid
  • Working with Children Check
Benefits:

This is a casual position offering flexible shifts covering a 7-day period. The roles will commence in October and cover the pool summer season (October to March). There may be opportunities to support other areas of the base during the off-season.
