Role Overview:
Marsh is seeking a highly skilled Risk Consultant to join our Advisory team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will lead risk advisory engagements with a diverse range of clients, collaborating with them to identify, analyze, quantify, and effectively transfer risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) engagements to enhance risk maturity in client organizations, aligning strategies with industry best practices.
- Translate global risk management standards into actionable risk roadmaps to provide clients with concise and sustainable risk management strategies.
- Recommend policy, procedural, process, system, and control improvements to clients.
- Assist in the planning and execution of client deliverables, including reports.
- Identify findings and issues, and assist in drafting client reports.
- Contribute to business development activities and cultivate strong client relationships through impactful communication.
- Project manage the execution of risk advisory projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive recommendations and solutions to optimize risk management using various formats.
- Advise clients on implementing effective risk mitigation strategies and internal controls to enhance their overall risk management capabilities.
- Stay informed and updated with industry regulations, standards, and best practices, and assist clients in complying with relevant laws and regulations.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and knowledge sharing within the firm.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or equivalent.
- At least 3+ years of working experience in risk advisory and/or internal audit within a Big 4 consulting firm.
- Professional certification such as CA/CPA/CFE (desirable).
- Proficient in risk management concepts and processes (ISO 31000, COSO).
