Child and Family Mental Health Support Specialist

Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service seeks a skilled clinician to support parents with mental health issues. The successful applicant will provide intensive specialist perinatal and infant mental health support through home visits, clinic appointments, and in-reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop education tools and programs to enhance service excellence.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to address novel, complex, or critical situations.
- Initiate, lead, complete, and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
- Provide clinical advice to managers on service development, practice change, and service redesign.
Selection Criteria:
- Social Worker or Occupational Therapist qualifications as per NSW Health Service Health Professionals Award.
- Current full registration with AHPRA and/or Australian Association of Social Workers membership.
- Psychology qualifications with 4-year degree and full registration with Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) along with minimum 8 years' experience post full registration.
The ideal candidate will possess strong emotional intelligence, client-centered approach, and passion for delivering high-quality care to vulnerable populations.
