
Ward Operations Coordinator

In this key role, you will support the nursing team in maintaining a secure and safe environment within our surgical wards.
You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Managers to ensure that patients with behaviours of concern, delirium, high falls risk, self-harm or cognitive decline receive appropriate care and support.
This involves assisting in responding to aggressive incidents under the direction of the clinical team and providing manual handling assistance with patient care requirements as directed.
You will also play a vital role in maintaining and managing surgical ward equipment, ensuring it is in good working order at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
- Clinical Knowledge: A strong understanding of clinical procedures and protocols is required, particularly in relation to patient care and safety.
- Teamwork: You will be part of a dynamic team, working together to provide excellent patient care and support.
