Clinical Nurse Consultant - Ward 4D: Advancing Acute Care Delivery

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team in Ward 4D. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering advanced nursing care and providing clinical leadership within a contemporary acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and contribute to care planning, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to coordinate services and deliver effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community stakeholders to enhance service quality and accessibility.
  • Integrate teaching, practice-based research, and quality improvement initiatives into daily practice to continually advance standards of care.
Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential criteria:

  • Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

The following desirable criteria would be advantageous in this role:

  • Hold or be working toward a relevant postgraduate qualification in the clinical field.
