Specialist Clinical Services Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist Pharmacist to join our multidisciplinary team. The role involves providing specialist pharmacy services to the Pharmacotherapy and Inpatient Withdrawal Unit of our service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in the clinical area and act as a resource pharmacist for the particular area of specialty.
- Work within policies for the provision of services to the Pharmacotherapy and the Inpatient Withdrawal Unit and dispense and dose for Pharmacotherapy patients on a daily basis.
- Dispense medications for patients being discharged from the Inpatient Withdrawal Units.
- Provide information and education to staff and clients on Consumer Medication Information.
- Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
- For pre-registration (intern) pharmacists: Eligible for provisional registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia or completion of an overseas qualification eligible for skills assessment through the Australian Pharmacy Council.
