IPAR is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping injured workers return to work and achieve optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Case Management: Manage a caseload of injured workers, providing expert clinical advice and guidance to ensure effective return-to-work outcomes.
- Return-to-Work Planning: Develop and implement return-to-work plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each worker.
- Workplace Education and Injury Prevention: Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to ensure seamless communication and effective case management.
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct a range of assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments, to identify and address workplace hazards and develop strategies to prevent future injuries.
- Pain Education and Management: Deliver IPAR's innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery, to help workers understand pain and develop strategies to manage it.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy, and professional registration with either ESSA or AHPRA.
- Experience: Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with injured workers, employers, and healthcare professionals.
- Personal Qualities: Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
