We are seeking a skilled and dedicated healthcare professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse. In this role, you will work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for promoting best practice in patient care, including the appropriate escalation of care.
- You will utilize effective communication skills to plan, implement, assess, and evaluate patient care.
- You will act as an advocate for the specific needs of all patients/clients and carers, including those from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote evidence-based practice in patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients.
- Utilize effective communication skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing, including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
