The Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000. We are a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, providing a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in management and/or extensive post-graduate clinical and management experience in the acute healthcare setting
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills demonstrating motivation, delegation, negotiation and knowledge with clinical experience of evidence-based acute health assessment, treatment and care
  • Proven ability to provide leadership, manage resources and drive change effectively with a demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Computer literacy including working knowledge of staff scheduling systems HealthRoster
