Project Cost Specialist

A Cost Engineer plays a pivotal role in managing project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts. They are responsible for establishing robust cost controls and reports to provide clients with accurate data for informed decision-making.
Main Responsibilities- Tailoring cost control approaches to meet client needs and aligning with industry best practices.
- Implementing, administering, and maintaining cost control systems and procedures to track project progress.
- Working collaboratively with the Integrated Project Team to establish a comprehensive Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and supporting change control processes.
- Developing project Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS), aligning time phasing of budgets against Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), to accurately track and control actual costs.
- A professional background in Project Controls with experience in Cost Engineering/Control across various sectors and the entire project lifecycle.
- A detailed understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to motivate and develop teams in a diverse and inclusive environment.
