Job Overview

Arc Infrastructure operates a vast network of transport infrastructure assets, supporting economic growth and job creation across Western Australia. Our 5,500km rail network is the backbone of freight transportation in diverse regions.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Commercial Specialist to play a pivotal role in shaping our transition to a new commercial environment. They will provide strategic inputs and advice across business units, supporting development of key strategies and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing business-wide processes and leading implementation of changes to meet operational requirements.
  • Developing our commercial strategy, including preparing for negotiation or arbitration of regulated track access.
  • Interpreting economic regulation and articulating key obligations, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Researching related economic regulatory regimes and developing recommendations to inform decision-making and business strategy.
  • Effectively communicating complex concepts to internal and external audiences.
  • Nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders, customers, and government bodies.
About You
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills, with demonstrated ability for critical thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial or regulatory roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in process or systems mapping.
  • Bachelor's degree in law, commerce, economics, or regulatory policy advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in project management and/or change management roles beneficial but not essential.
