Senior Business Analyst

Credit Union Australia is on the lookout for experienced Senior Business Analysts to become integral members of our Enterprise Delivery team.

The Enterprise Delivery team collaborates closely to support and guide our stakeholders, applying the delivery lifecycle to initiatives that help Credit Union Australia achieve its strategic goals.

In the role of Senior Business Analyst, you will demonstrate a strong capability to address intricate business challenges, utilizing your critical thinking and analytical expertise.

This position allows for flexibility, including the option to work remotely on certain days.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, organize, and lead workshops with stakeholders, working alongside all levels of the organization to gather business and solution requirements.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders such as Product, Legal, UX, technical delivery teams, and vendors to gather and communicate requirements effectively.
  • Facilitate, negotiate, and mediate collaboratively to reach desired outcomes.
  • Serve as the business analysis subject matter expert, recognized across the organization.
  • Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs and priorities.
  • Assist the Product Owner in managing the backlog and prioritizing initiatives.
  • Lead iterative delivery ceremonies, including retrospectives, iteration planning, and daily stand-ups as necessary.
  • Support multiple initiatives at various stages of the delivery lifecycle.
Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in large strategic programs as a Business Analyst across various environments, utilizing both traditional and iterative delivery methodologies.
  • Advanced business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, modeling, and options analysis.
  • A solid understanding of banking products, particularly transaction products.
  • A degree in Management, Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Certification in Agile, MSP, or similar methodologies is advantageous.
  • Experience with digital initiatives such as mobile, online banking, websites, and online applications is a plus.
