About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team at Entain Australia & New Zealand. As a key member of our Insights and Data team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and innovation through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Data Strategies: Contribute to the execution of our Insights and Data strategy, employing strong data governance across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Gather and document requirements for reporting from business stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Lead Data Analysis Activities: Execute data analysis activities, including updating of reports, data validation, data discovery and, data issue investigations.
  • Implement Data Solutions: Lead the implementation of a range of data sets, SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards, enabling the operational and commercial requirements for various departments.
  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Identify gaps in existing information provision and opportunities for new levels of support for business decision making and operations.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record gathering high-quality reporting requirements and translating into effective reports, dashboards, and insights.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of relational, tabular and multi-dimensional data structures, with extensive experience in SQL Server/SSRS/Power BI/DAX/Excel/Power Pivot.
  • Communication Skills: Strong client communication, stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for Analytics: Inquisitive and insightful with a passion for analytics and data-driven decision-making.
