
Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapy Professional

As a clinical consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping paediatric occupational therapy practices across the country. Your expertise will help clinicians grow in confidence and capability while directly impacting families through expert guidance.
- Collaborate with senior mentors and national discipline leaders within the Concentric Clinical Quality Development (CQD) team to drive clinical excellence and expand access to quality care nationwide.
- Be part of a high-performing CQD team spanning multiple states, working collaboratively across disciplines (OT, Speech, Physio, EP, PBS & Psych) to drive innovation in therapy.
- Develop a culture for learning and growth across the organisation, promoting evidence-based practice and championing multidisciplinary teamwork.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing expert consultation in paediatric occupational therapy for complex cases.
- Delivering 1:1 supervision, mentoring, and group learning to early-career and senior OTs.
- Supporting therapists with evidence-based practice, goal setting, and family-centred care.
- Working collaboratively across disciplines to achieve holistic outcomes for children and families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Contributing to internal upskilling initiatives and national mentoring programs.
- Participating in research, evaluation, or service design projects within the paediatric team.
Key responsibilities also include:
- Representing occupational therapy in clinical governance discussions and supporting continuous quality improvement.
- Staying informed about the latest research, best practices, and regulatory changes within the NDIS and Community sectors.
- Attending team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
