**Job Summary**

The role of Technical Expertise Specialist involves providing a high level of technical expertise and strategic insight to support business objectives. This position requires extensive experience handling complex Workers Compensation claims, particularly supporting small business clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide technical expertise and support to the Manager, Tail and Claims Performance & Delivery to assist with strategic claims management decision making across all products
  • Provide technical expertise and/or mentoring to support the development of technical staff to ensure appropriate performance standards are achieved
  • Ensure departmental procedures and training are in-line with business objectives and legislative and procedural requirements, and are updated/amended as required, to ensure they always remain current

**Requirements:**

  • Extensive experience handling complex Workers Compensation claims, particularly supporting small business clients
  • In-depth technical knowledge of personal injury claims and all relevant legislation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively and build positive relationships with stakeholders
