The Occupational Therapist role is varied and challenging, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for assessing participant needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure their goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
  • Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals

Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • A proactive attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
