Lead CT Radiographer Role

This is a leadership position for an experienced radiographer to take on the role of CT Lead in Tasmania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical leadership of the CT radiographer workforce across the state, including CT scanning and designing, developing, and delivering training programs.

They will also contribute to quality and safety initiatives, drive operational excellence, and oversee professional development and training of qualified radiographers.

Additionally, they will support recruitment and retention, drive innovative and strategic initiatives, and provide excellent customer service provisions while maintaining a professional and proactive relationship with attending radiologists, referrers, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical leadership of the CT radiographer workforce across the state
  • CT scanning and other modalities as required/skilled
  • Designing, developing, and delivering training programs for radiographers
  • Contributing to quality and safety initiatives
  • Driving operational excellence
  • Overseeing professional development and training of qualified radiographers
  • Supporting recruitment and retention
  • Driving innovative and strategic initiatives
Requirements
  • Significant experience in CT modality across various machines/platforms
  • Deep knowledge of CT governance, resources, and systems
  • Good business and commercial acumen
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Track record in developing and implementing training resources
  • Effective communication and professionalism
  • Teamwork and good peer relationships
  • AHPRA registration
