WPP AUNZ is seeking an experienced Financial Manager/Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and billing operations, with the ability to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, management and financial accounting, and business analysis.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts.
  • Ensure timely delivery of monthly financial statements to WPP AUNZ, meeting strict deadlines.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and implement and monitor internal controls to achieve SOX compliance.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a financial accounting role, preferably in a large complex business.
  • A strong client service approach.
  • Excellent technical accounting skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver outcomes with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and adapt to changing environments.

Qualifications:

  • Accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Ability to produce meaningful and insightful financial analysis to guide business decision-making and influence others at a senior management and executive level.
  • Experience managing teams with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive, professional, and confident approach.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift.
  • Monday to Friday.

Work Authorization:

  • Australia (preferred).

Work Location: In-person.
