Key Responsibilities:- Assist in building a strong and highly regarded Risk Management team.
- Help drive and maintain a strong and resilient culture of risk and compliance, which is embedded across the business.
- Provide effective Line 2 independent review and challenge.
- Provide risk management expertise and best practice advice that is aligned to the businesses' risk frameworks and risk appetite.
- Line 2 oversight of business planning activities, cultivating and fostering enduring relationships with the business.
- Assist in delivering insightful risk reporting, including to Board and Board Committees.
- Maintain existing risk tools within the relevant operational risk & compliance system(s).
- Experience within consulting services is highly valuable.
- Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
- Knowledge of risk and compliance principles and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the Financial Services sector.
- An understanding of risks associated with multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media and traditional platforms.
- Strong analytical, verbal and report writing skills.
- The ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solve in a complex environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive behavioural and mindset changes, across all levels within the organisation and build trusted relationships.
- Actively promote the Risk Management brand through behaviours and cultures as well as through adding value to the business.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
