Support Worker Opportunity

Are you a caring and empathetic individual who is passionate about supporting people with disabilities? We are seeking Support Workers to join our team, providing support services that empower individuals to reach their full potential.

">Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in disability support and possess excellent communication skills. As a Support Worker, you will assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities.
  • Active Sleep Over: Overnight support where the worker is required to be awake and available to provide support to the participant for more than two hours during the overnight period.
  • Manual Handling: Aid clients with mobility challenges through proper manual handling techniques and assisting with exercises.
  • Community Engagement: Support clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities.
  • Domestic Duties: Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean-living environment.
  • Behavioural Management: Handle clients with high behaviours, employing appropriate strategies to ensure their safety and well-being.

What You Will Need:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Cert 3 or 4 in Individual Support (Disability)
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and workers module
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
