Empowering Independence Support Worker

About the Role

Our goal is to empower people and create connections, making a real impact in their lives.

  • Deliver personalized support aligned with each individual's goals and needs.
  • Assist with daily personal care tasks such as toileting, showering, and dressing.
  • Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans.
  • Facilitate community access and transport using public transport or vehicles.
  • Build trusted relationships with individuals, families, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support individuals with intellectual disabilities to access the community and achieve their goals.
  2. Provide emotional support and guidance to help individuals achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
  3. Maintain accurate documentation and records of services provided.

We require the successful candidate to be energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient. Previous experience in disability support is preferred.

Requirements:
  • A valid NSW driver's licence (P2/full) and confidence in driving vehicles.
  • Availability to work from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on weekdays.
