Operations Director Job Description

The Operations Director plays a key role in the senior leadership team, overseeing a high-performing team that supports regulatory and operational obligations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team to support operations.
  • Review, develop, and drive complex legislative and policy change to enhance regulatory functions.
  • Develop and manage systems and processes for strategic and operational planning.
  • Establish performance frameworks for operational oversight and reporting.
  • Monitor and improve policies, procedures, work practices, and management systems.
  • Lead operational management across human resources, infrastructure, workplace health, safety, wellbeing, risk, and compliance.
  • Develop engagement plans for stakeholders and communications.
  • Oversee operating budgets to achieve optimal service delivery.
  • Implement risk management and continuous improvement programs.
  • Manage corporate services and projects supporting operations.

As a member of the senior leadership team, you will contribute to ongoing review of legislative and policy change, provide leadership and management of resources, and provide oversight of strategic and operational performance.
