Orthopaedic Care Specialist

Job Overview:
A dedicated and skilled Orthopaedic Specialist is required to deliver exceptional patient care during complex procedures.
About the Role:- Work collaboratively with senior medical and nursing staff to achieve high standards of patient care within a safe environment.
- Liaise effectively with Surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, technical and support caregivers regarding procedures, patient positioning and equipment.
- Take direction as instructed in the operating room environment by senior nursing and medical staff.
- Ensure all orthopaedic equipment has been received, decontaminated and sterilised according to AS4817 and hospital policies.
- Maintain accurate records of orthopaedic implants.
- Order and replace orthopaedic instruments and prostheses for scheduled operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Orthopaedic equipment and its application.
- Understanding of basic anatomy and physiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and organise work activities efficiently.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centred care and upholding organisational values.
