We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Product Specialist.

This role is a unique opportunity to play a critical part in advancing orthopaedic surgery through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using Stryker's Mako system.

This position requires a high level of clinical knowledge, technical acumen, and the ability to thrive in the fast-paced environment of the operating theatre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for Mako-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across regions to support multiple hospital sites.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • A strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation.
  • Experience in fields such as orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, or operating theatre nursing/registered nursing.
  • Proficiency in software and medical technology.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with surgeons and hospital teams.
  • Adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure.
