Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Professional to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will report to the State Business Manager based in Clayton office.

Your key objective will be to maximize sales and profitability of PPG Architectural Coatings products for the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales, profit, and growth targets for trade within the assigned territory
  • Develop a customer service proposition to support brand strategy
  • Implement specification/sales strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term goals
  • Deliver professional product/system presentations to trade customers
  • Supply tender development, presentation, and management
  • Provide product/system specifications
  • Develop working relationships with important customers
  • Grow a portfolio of important accounts
  • Provide market intelligence/feedback on required new product development and product enhancements
Requirements:
  • Successful track record in account management
  • Commercial knowledge of the coatings industry
  • B2B sales experience within the construction industry is a bonus
  • High-level negotiation skills
  • Experience in MS Office suite
