Market Development Director Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Market Development Director to drive growth and development strategies for our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives that strengthen relationships with independent associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, direct, and drive sales business strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Maintain relationships with existing key Associates and identify new and potential leaders.
  • Develop and implement sales plans, including tracking sales performances and examining competitors' and market trends.
  • Identify emerging leaders and assist their growth through coaching and counselling sessions.
  • Maintain close contact with Independent Associates, newly enrolled associates, and leaders to enhance their sense of belonging.
  • Propose annual training and recognition budgets and monitor spending against budget figures.
  • Plan and execute recognition and incentive programs to reward successful behavior.
  • Plan and execute yearly training programs for Associates at different skill levels.
  • In conjunction with the Marketing Department, create an effective onboarding program to retain new Associates.
  • Provide senior management with timely and accurate feedback on the industry and competitive landscape.
  • Monitor the results of promotional campaigns and share ideas and best practices with other teams.
Requirements
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of sales or industry experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Ability to interface with associates and employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in computer software and internet resources as they apply to Market Development and marketing.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude, and be a good team player.
