Our client, a Western Australian ASX-listed gold explorer with a significant high-grade gold deposit, is seeking a Mine Surveyor to join their Underground Gold Project, which sits in a substantial gold and nickel-producing district.
FIFO Perth 8:6 3 Month Contract Diploma or bachelor's degree in Surveying; Current C Class WA Driver's License; Previous Surveying experience in a mechanized hard-rock underground mine; Experience using Deswik Survey; Good skills in spreadsheet, presentation, word processing and database applications WA Authorised Mine Surveyor's Certificate of Competency - Grade 1 Position Duties: Utilise appropriate equipment and survey best practices to generate accurate survey data in a timely manner; Maintain survey equipment to a high standard and ensure equipment is kept within required calibration and adjustmentparameters; Ensure Emergency Plans are up to date and easily accessible; Assist with creation of Mine Plans for regulatory submissions; Install survey stations for directional control of mining; Carry out accurate mark-ups of all designs for development and drilling activities; ExperiencePrevious Surveying experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine Current StatusOPEN DurationContract Duty RosterFIFO Perth 8:6
