GEMS Miningis a Mining Engineering and Surveying contracting and consultancy service with clients throughout Australia.

We have an opportunity for an underground mining engineer to join our talented team.

This is a Perth based, FIFO role, 8/6 roster.

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering;
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in underground mining engineering;
  • The ability to work productively within a small team;
  • A strong focus on health and safety;
  • A solid understanding of mining statutory acts and regulations;
  • A willingness to be helpful and useful to our clients;
  • Experience with Deswik Cad/UGDB;
  • Completion of Underground time is preferred but not essential;
  • C Class Driver's License; and
  • Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
