Job Description:

The role of Infringement Officer involves leading the regulatory response in relation to administering litter and motor vehicle programs. This entails educating communities and enforcing compliance with laws, utilizing excellent communication and organizational skills to process high-volume administrative reports, issue infringements, notices, and advisory letters, and manage post-issue infringement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess high volume reports and make decisions on issuing infringements, notices, and advisory letters">
  • Contribute to roadside operations and support delivery of statewide compliance programs as required">
  • Maintain policies and procedures for infringement management, litter, and motor vehicle programs">
  • Escalate unpaid infringements and provide support for summary prosecutions">
  • Participate in responses to environmental and public health emergencies and incidents">

  • Knowledge of the infringement process is desirable">
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver in relation to statutory timeframes">
